Roth talks about orientation involving a number of different programs combining together with different goals, making students to feel at ease on campus, allowing them to become familiar with different buildings and offices on campus, helping to reduce a sense of loneliness, and learning about the academic programs at the university to help with registration. Baker talks about support services offered by the Rural Student Services and the Native Student Organization.
