Erich Follmann from the University of Alaska Institute Of Biology talks about the 32nd Alaska Science Conference on Life Sciences in the Service of Alaska to be held at the University of Alaska Fairbanks on August 25-27, 1981. Follmann talks about exposing the public to the life sciences, letting people know what they are doing and how it is relevant to their lifestyles here in Alaska, programs offered to the general public, John Bligh, anthropology presentation by Dr. Ernest Burch from the Smithsonian Institution, a lecture in the agricultural area by Sylvan Wentworth and a panel discussion on wildlife management .
