Dick Reidel talks about the news magazine created by the students at Tanana Junior High School in Fairbanks, providing technical assistance, the student's drawing on the latest technology for their work, working with the teacher and IT specialist at the school, use of CompuServe, working with the students and their teacher in the classroom to develop the magazine, covering topics relevant to kids their age, the students having the opportunity to see experts in the field using the CompuServe system, discovering powerful ways to use the computer, students using a word processor writing better and more, computers as a communication tool, and how the students accepted the project.
