Karen Cedzo reports on the construction of the Constitutional Park on campus, beginning of the project in May by the Physical Plant staff, H and H Contractors taking over the work, light installations and concrete forms, planting scheduled at the end of the summer and dedication in September, the previous serious problem of drainage between the Fine Arts Building and Wood Center, Jim Parks solution to the problem and designing a park for the area, Howard Cutler giving the go ahead on the park, Patrick O'Rourke providing additional impetus to create the park, creation of a campus committee to work with the landscape architect, Land Design in Anchorage and the progress of the park construction.
